Generative KI wird als wichtige Schlüsseltechnologie diskutiert und zunehmend in der Wissensarbeit eingesetzt. Für Deutschland liegen jedoch wenige empirisch belastbare Untersuchungen dazu vor, in welchen beruflichen Kontexten generative KI intensiv zum Einsatz kommt und in welchen dies nicht der Fall ist. In diesem Beitrag greifen wir diesen Forschungsbedarf auf und berichten für die wissensintensive Berufsgruppe der Unternehmensorganisation und -strategie, inwieweit Voraussetzungen am Arbeitsplatz (berufliche Autonomie, Arbeitsanforderungen, Tätigkeiten und Führungsverantwortung) systematisch mit der Adoption generativer KI assoziiert sind. Methodisch wurden logistische Regressionsmodelle mit arbeitsbezogenen Prädiktoren und demografischen Kontrollvariablen eingesetzt. Als Datengrundlage diente die BIBB/BAuA-Erwerbstätigenbefragung 2024. Die Analysen zeigten für die untersuchte Berufsgruppe, dass besonders eine höhere berufliche Autonomie signifikant mit einer stärkeren Adoption generativer KI einherging.
Praktische Relevanz: Dieser Artikel berichtet empirische Evidenz zur Verbreitung generativer KI und den Prädiktoren ihrer Nutzung. Die beobachteten Nutzungsmuster bieten empirische Einsichten für die Arbeitsgestaltung. Diese machen sichtbar, welche sozialen Ungleichheiten bei der Adoption generativer KI bestehen, entlang welcher arbeitsbezogenen Voraussetzungen sich die digitale Transformation vollzieht und wo KI-bezogene Kompetenzen voraussichtlich an Bedeutung gewinnen. Darüber hinaus bieten die Ergebnisse eine Grundlage für politische Entscheidungen und die Entwicklung regulatorischer Maßnahmen.},
