Since it is visible over\r\na distance and does not interfere with other modalities, it is\r\nespecially interesting for mobile robots. In an online survey,\r\nwe asked 56 participants to choose the most appropriate colors\r\nfor scenarios that were presented in the form of videos. In\r\nthese scenarios a mobile robot accomplished tasks, in some with\r\nsuccess, in others it failed because the task is not feasible, in\r\nothers it stopped because it waited for help. We analyze in what\r\nway the color preferences differ between these three categories.\r\nThe results show a connection between colors and meanings and\r\nthat it depends on the participants’ technical affinity, experience\r\nwith robots and gender how clear the color preference is for\r\na certain category. Finally, we found out that the participants’\r\nfavorite color is not related to color preferences.","lang":"eng"}]}
