{"abstract":[{"text":"Focus of this work is the advantage of collecting monitoring data from photovoltaic (PV)-power\r\nsystems with modern thermal imaging technology and intelligent image analysis algorithms. Recognition and\r\nprediction of faults in large PV-systems are important for effective economic operation of PV-plants. Contemporary\r\nmethods like electroluminescence need to disassemble PV-modules in the field. Our work will show that faults like\r\nbroken cells can be detected automatically in working PV-modules by thermal imaging.
