eTex - A multimedia-based learning environment for the textile industry

Within the project eTex, a multimedia-based e-learning concept for the textile industry is being developed which aims to acquaint apprentices in vocational training with the domains of warp and weft knitting. The application of these innovative teaching materials can help to impart knowledge about complex processes and furthermore increases the attractiveness of the textile education. Besides the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, there are eleven other partners from six European countries participating in the project which is promoted by the European Union with the "Leonardo da Vinci" program.
