HSBI as a GATE-Germany member
HSBI strives to drive the entire university’s internationalisation forward. In this process, membership in the GATE-Germany Consortium for International University Marketing is highly beneficial, in particular for the recruitment of international students. The various services offered by GATE-Germany can be used at reduced member prices, e.g. to advertise study programmes.

 

The consortium:
Funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, GATE-Germany is a consortium for international university marketing of German universities. It also has an office in the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). GATE-Germany supports the universities by providing marketing instruments and expertise in presenting and positioning themselves internationally with their study and research offers. Member universities benefit from the DAAD’s global network of branch offices and information centres as well as the comprehensive international competence and expertise in international university marketing, which the DAAD contributes to the work of GATE-Germany.

 

The range of services:
GATE-Germany membership opens up access to numerous marketing formats and tools, such as webinars, (virtual) university fairs, advertisements on DAAD websites, advertising study programmes in the annually updated database “International Programmes in Germany,” etc. These formats and instruments are complemented by a large archive of articles, studies and (country-specific) publications. In addition, GATE-Germany offers seminars and workshops for further and continuing education conducted by Internationale DAAD-Akademie (iDA) for which member universities pay reduced participation fees.
