HSBI orientates its research profile to the global social challenges of the future, concentrating in particular on the compelling issues of climate and energy, health, mobility and communication.

Our research activities take place in institutes, research networks or individually. HSBI supports outstanding research of individual researchers. Early stage researchers are qualified through cooperative doctorates and graduate schools.

Transfer

A close network of representatives from research, industry and society is of utmost importance for regional development.
