Our job advertisements are usually published in German, sometimes also bilingually in German and English. While very good German language skills (spoken and written) are essential for many positions, it is possible – particularly in the academic field – to submit an application in English and to learn German “on the job.” Our Welcome Center offers international scholars support in planning and realising their stay at HSBI, including German courses or coaching sessions.
