Vom 18. bis 22. Mai findet die alljährliche International Week (IW) statt, zu der Gäste aus der ganzen Welt an die HSBI kommen. Die International Week ist seit 2018 fester Bestandteil der "Internationalisierung @ Home" an der HSBI. Jedes Jahr im Frühling kommen internationale Gäste aus Lehre, Forschung und Praxis auf Einladung von HSBI-Mitarbeitenden für eine Woche an unsere Hochschule und bringen ihre internationalen Perspektiven an allen Standorten ein. Die Beteiligung kann unterschiedliche Formen haben: Die Gäste können eine Seminarsitzung oder Vorlesung gestalten, in Projekten mitwirken, Vorträge halten, Workshops geben oder ihre Heimathochschulen vorstellen – ob in Präsenz oder digital.
Daneben gibt es im Rahmenprogramm der International Week zahlreiche Informationsangebote zu Auslandsaufenthalten für alle HSBI-Angehörigen und Aktionen von und mit internationalen Studierenden. Auch für die internationalen Gäste gibt es ein Rahmenprogramm, um die HSBI und Deutschland besser kennenzulernen und sich zu vernetzen.

The annual International Week (IW) will take place from 18 to 22 May, with guests from all over the world coming to HSBI. The International Week (IW) has been an integral part of “Internationalisation @ Home” at HSBI since 2018. Each year in spring, experts from teaching, research and practice, who have been invited by their colleagues from HBSI, come to our university to share their international perspectives on all campuses. Their contribution can take various forms: Guests can hold a seminar session or lecture, participate in projects, give talks and workshops or present their home universities – whether in person or digitally.
The IW is rounded off with a colourful accompanying programme for all status groups of the university, featuring info sessions on stays abroad for all HSBI members and activities by and with international students. There is also an acommpanying programme for the international guests to network and to get to know HSBI and Germany better.
