The goal of the lecture is to introduce participants to ways of application of earthen materials. The lecture is open to everyone interested in the topic. It will be followed by a practical workshop for second semester architecture students.
Jan Glasmeier is an architect and educator based between Bangkok and London, and founder of SIMPLE Architecture. He has worked with internationally renowned practices including Foster + Partners, Arup Associates, and A.GOR.A Architects, and has also taught as a guest professor at the University of Arts Linz while serving as a trustee of Architecture for Humanity UK since 2022.
