We are happy that you have chosen to study with us! You meet the requirements for studying in Germany and have secured a place at our university.

Before and during your studies, you may face different kinds of challenges. The International Students team is here to support you with the following services:

• Assistance with application questions regarding foreign educational qualifications
• Orientation days before the start of your studies: Welcome Weeks
• Peer-to-peer mentoring for your start at HSBI: INTutoring
• HSBI appointments at the Bielefeld Foreigners’ Registration Office (Ausländerbehörde)
• Housing support
• CV review and job coaching
• Workshop programme From Campus to Career
• Individual counselling

The International Office also supports you with semester-accompanying programmes, study-abroad opportunities and language courses.

In addition to the International Office, all other central HSBI services for your studies and student life are available to you. Your faculty will also assist with subject-specific and interdisciplinary questions.
