Monique Rasetti is a Mexican concert pianist with an international reputation who seeks to integrate poetry and visual arts through music. The aim of this concert is to rescue and disseminate part of the pianistic legacy of the composer Fanny Hensel-Mendelssohn (1805–1847) and to incorporate it into the academic and artistic spheres. The work of this composer has historically been marginalised due to gender bias. Drawing on her research in historical archives and her study of period instruments, Monique Rasetti will offer an informed and insightful interpretation of Hensel-Mendelssohn's music.
