Research Profile
HSBI’s research profile is oriented towards the global social challenges of the future. We focus on the fields of climate, communication, energy, health and mobility.
HSBI’s research activities are currently organised in six research institutes and several research networks . In addition, we support outstanding research of individual researchers. HSBI’s strategic targets are outlined in our research strategy .
HSBI is represented on the research map of the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK) with the following three research focuses:
- education and healthcare research in the health sector
- intelligent technical energy systems
- material science
The (internal) HSBI research map visualises HSBI’s research and transfer activities. Topics, projects and researchers, and also their interrelationships, are represented graphically and their connections are highlighted.
