This presentation is one of two presentations integrated in this day's "Integrated Product Development" lecture. Assoc. Prof. Xiqiang Guan will present his research on the application of AI to replace labor-intensive manual inspections by using high-resolution cameras. Specialized algorithms analyze images in real time to identify cracks, discoloration and corrosion.

Mr. Xiqiang Guan is an associate professor at the Shanghai Normal University (SHNU). He teaches and does research at the College of Information Mechanical & Electrical Engineering at SHNU.
