Leena Mekkonen-Leppanen is Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, Finland. A long international career in finance, controlling, and leadership has given me a practical perspective I can now share with my students. My approach to teaching is supportive and encouraging, with a focus on helping each student discover their own strengths. Experiences in working and living in different countries have made me open-minded, flexible, and curious about new perspectives.
