We will discuss key challenges posed by the employee shortage in the social services sector in Bulgaria and Germany. In a teamwork unit, students will discuss differences between the two countries and develop theory-based solutions to tackle skill shortages in both countries.

Rossitsa Simeonova is an Associate Professor at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” (Bulgaria), where she teaches and researches in the fields of social work management, human resources, and educational management. Her work focuses on topics such as organizational culture, quality management in social services, and the training and evaluation of professionals in social work and education.
