Beschreibung: Singapore consistently ranks among the world's healthiest and longest-living societies, with outcomes comparable to recognized Blue Zones — regions characterised by specific lifestyle factors and community dynamics that support exceptional longevity. The lecture will cover health system research in Singapore, health promotion initiatives, and the implementation of digital solutions in clinical practice.
Dr. Chong-Han Kua is an educator and researcher at Republic Polytechnic, Singapore, and a board-certified geriatric pharmacist. He holds a pharmacy degree from the National University of Singapore, a Master of Clinical Pharmacy from the University of South Australia, and a PhD from Monash University. His research spans gerontology, medication use, and digital health, and he has collaborated with academic partners across Malaysia, Korea, and Australia within the Asia-Pacific region. He is currently leading a digitalization project funded by Singapore’s Ministry of Education Translational R&D Innovation Fund, with the goal of enhancing clinical outcomes and healthcare delivery through innovation.
