European Summer School 2025, company project at the European market leader for kitchen furniture „nobilia“ in Verl (near Bielefeld)

Programme

Since 2009, students from North America, Europe, Asia, and beyond have come to Bielefeld for our six-week European Summer School to study, explore, and connect.

In a small group of around 25 international and local students, you will:

  • Attend business lectures with internationally experienced professors.
  • Learn German language and culture in interactive classes.
  • Work on a real company project with a German business partner.
  • Visit leading companies and discover how European business works in practice.

Weekends are reserved for field trips to influential cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, and The Hague, where business, politics, and history meet. You’ll also have free time to explore the region on your own.

With its mix of courses, company visits, cultural activities, and travel, the Summer School offers the perfect balance of academic content and European adventure.

The programme is open to students from our partner universities and carries 6 U.S. Credits / 12 ECTS.

Be part of a truly global classroom — and create your own story in Bielefeld this summer!
